DataFashion has completed the migration of Canali’s North American subsidiaries from Microsoft Dynamics AX2009 to AX2012.
Established international brand of upmarket menswear, Canali has integrated the two trading companies (USA and Canada) and the e-commerce company onto the same platform used by the headquarters in Italy.
While the roll-out of the 14 US boutiques was concluded last week, the three American subsidiaries have been live on the new system since the beginning of May.
By integrating all of its operations on the same platform, Canali aims at improving its control over business, streamlining operations and increasing reactivity.
Using Dynamics AX2012 throughout the group enables the brand to:
- Benefit from intercompany functions for master data, price-lists and shipping documents;
- Increase the efficiency of logistics, by centrally managing all distribution flows and closely integrating with manufacturing, which is fully executed in Italy;
- Automate the drafting and posting of accounting documents and provide accounting and management control departments with full and immediate access to the whole business.
Next, the same will be carried out with the boutiques and subsidiaries in Asia and China.
